After about 3 months of looking, listening, configuring, changing my mind 38 times, shopping various dealerships, listening to the "experts" :)  on here, I have reached the point where....."I'm going in!!"

Heading down to the store tomorrow to place the order (wanted to take advantage of the warranty extension by Yamaha) and place my order for one of these!

2017 23 RSFB.

Major Options

250HP VMAX SHO and ESP, dual batteries, power steering hydraulic assist

Midnight Black with metallic white lower accent  (may change to smokey granite on panels on way down)

Glacier White interior with Carbon accent with pillow top diamond stitched upholstery

Seagrass Slate flooring,

In-floor Storage

Simrad GPS

Blackout package, black rub rail insert

Roswell speaker upgrade for FastBack

RGB cupholder lighting and side illumination

Minor Options

Elevated helm, pop up cleats in bow, stainless steel wheel, recliner upgrade to extra wide seats, 52" ski pylon, bow gate seat, rough water pkg,  American flag (want the pole to fly other flags too:) bow table (could lose this on the way down to the dealer) ottoman with cooler, lighted bimini (went standard bimini)

I like a little edge to my "toons, so I'm going with the blackout against either the black panels or smokey granite....From what I've learned here and other spots, this should be a great boat for years to come.  Thanks for all the information.

Think it's going to be a 10-12 week wait, but thats ok.   This forum can entertain me for awhile..

Oh, and the best of all, I'm ordering the pontoon on our 33rd wedding anniversary:)  Happy Anniversary to us.

Congrats! Both are keepers!

Congratulations! Great build and love the lay out.  The wait is a killer.

Congratulations on the anniversary.  What a great way to celebrate.  Sure shounds like a great build!  Enjoy both.

Congrats on Anniversay and the new "present". I'm partial to the "curved" Bimini. It would accentuate the lines of the boat. Just a thought .....

Also, verify that Yami warranty. I thought it runs out today. You need to verify that with dealer as you "might" need to "buy" it now to get it registered? Hopefully that 10-12 weeks is on track. They are in the peak of season and having some supplier "bumps in the road", but maybe your dealer has a reserved build slot which probably helps.

33 years is a great achievement for you both. Obviously you've mastered the art of compromise but not when it comes to picking out a really nice boat  . You will love that new boat. She going to be a beauty.

Great looking build, congratulations on two great relationships

Happy Anniversary!! Congradulations on purchasing the finest pontoon boat on the market! You obviously have good taste if you'd made it thru 33 years.......Maybe I should be giving her the credit! ;)

Anyway that's one fantastic build and as long you have the patience it'll be well worth the wait!!

Just in under the wire on the Yamaha extended warranty....whew....

Just got back a couple of hours ago.  Dropped the Mastercraft at my new dealer for service, drove to the Bennington dealer - did the deed - drove back to the MC dealer to pick up that boat  and high tailed it back to home.

Fortunately, my dealer has been holding one of his production spots for me since we first spoke (couple of months ago), so my wait isn't too bad.  He swapped out one he had in the que for mine, so we are looking at sometime around Memorial Day.  I did break down and add back in the heavy thread option on the upholstery, otherwise, it's as I spec'd it above.  We sat down and double checked every item to ensure we had it right.    Very, very happy with my choice of boat, and just as important, very happy with the dealer that I chose.

As a side note, the other 2-3 dealers that I discussed this with were also very professional and courteous, but I ended up going with the closest to my lake house.  I also tried to be very respectful of their time, as they were of mine.

Thanks again for all the support......

Great news, congrats!

Congrats!!  Looks like a great build!
