Location
Below the Mason/Dickson Line
Looks like it would get in the way of your cover ,doesn't fold

That would be cool if it folded down so like what Jack said Dosent get in the way of your cover. And I'm not sure if I mounted it in that location the forward arms of my Bimini would not get in the way when folding them out?? That mirrior would have my attention if it folded back and down

That does look like a bimini strut bracket on the right side of the pic

Jack your right. Some Biminis would arch up and over that Mirrior and the support leg would swing dong and connect. I can tell by the way its mounted in the photo it would be a small issue on my Q but Im sure it would work on many other boats, Like the one in the photo. it does seem like a cool set up hopfully V2 wil be out soon "6 min Abs"

I'm happy with the PTM ,to me it was worth the cost .( I have the small size no water sports  )

Folds down out of the way when I cover . I use a Crown bag to cover the mirror itself when folded to help avoid scratching .

Them be some gooooood pancakes.

Some person on eBay is selling this same mirror for $100. Must be an Amazon reseller marking it up 20%. What a racket.

Got this on Amazon for $85 ??? I'll see how "new" it is and return if it's crap. Gotta love Amazon Prime. Should be here Sunday. Wasn't looking for something this big, but oh well, for the price I'll try it.

Are you ready to drill holes in your New Rails ?

Actually I think I might mount it to the helm.  I'm more concerned about the edge of the mirror bracket wearing on the inside of the mooring cover. Before too long I'll be cutting in the helm opening for the simrad ....

I have the clamp on with the small mirror . Fits under the cover perfect .I do cover the mirror with a Crown bag  when I fold it down ,just in case .

I would need to drink that Crown Royal before I could even think about drilling holes. Yikes!

Same here. I could never bring myself to drill into a finished surface on the boat! I know many do but that's not for me!
