Just saw these on Amazon

I drilled to ,install my EZ Fenders

My dealor drilled to install my ez fenders.  I figured the benefit outweighed any unintended harm to the railings.

I would need to drink that Crown Royal before I could even think about drilling holes. Yikes!

Same here. I could never bring myself to drill into a finished surface on the boat! I know many do but that's not for me!

I know that feeling!  I took a jig saw to the roof and sides of a NEW Ford   Econoline van I bought in 1979 with the interior unfinished.  I wanted to install a roof vent and side windows in, before I "customized" it. Even though I had planned on doing it, it took me a week before I could actually bring myself to start drilling and cutting.  All did end up well though. (Slightly off topic)

Yeah, I used the Taylor Made but had my dealer do it. Being they had to go on second rail I was concerned about damaging the panels. With the Blackout I didn't trust myself there. Drilling through top rail doesn't scare me much if I do end up mounting it there.

The helm panel is one chance to get it right though. Too big, and there's no going back. Then again, maybe if I drill too big I can tell Panthergirl I need to go to Simrad 7 or 9 .... hmmmmmm...  B)

The bracket won't bother the cover. We've had our mirror for a couple of years now.

boat is in shop for spring checkup and tachometer fix (7000rpm idle - really??) then off to Terry's detailing for a pressure wash.

in the Lake this weekend. Will get some action shots with mirror installed but no reason to expect an issue unless the clamp screws are weak.

Thanks .

I haven't seen the large in person ,glad I got the small .

I had thought about upgrading to the large .You can get the mirror alone

It was beautiful, but HUGE!!!! I sent it back. Way too big for my needs.

Yeah, but even the arm seemed huge to me. Maybe on the boat it would look smaller, but I just want something a little more subtle. Guess this weekends project will be the Simrad ....
