Spent a few hours cruzin. It was about 79 and plenty of sunshine. We did have a bit of a breeze. I always keep my double bimini up and had about 38 gallons of gas and 5 people. Spent a bit of time in Copper Canyon. This is one of the famous party places in lake Havasu during the summer. It was nice and quiet today. Then off to explore a few more coves and canyons. Had lunch in Steamboat Cove and then through the channel and under the London Bridge.
It was a nice day and I was prepared for winter. I did have my sweatshirt on board. With the cool weather the boat pulled very strong through the midrange. We hit just over 49MPH. The bimini does act like a bit of a parachute. I am confident that this boat with a light load and no bimini would run no less than 54MPH. I will try to post some pics.
Cheers, Steve
