When I went to start my boat after 2 weeks of sitting at the dock, it woulldn't go. No trim, no nothing. The livewell etc. worked just fine. The radio would not work either. After a fair amount of searching for what it might be I found one fuse on the motor was burned out and one on the radio! I was informed that the weekend before there had been alot of lightning strikes at the lake. Could that be the cause? I can't figure anything else. Thank goodness nothing was really damaged.

what do you think?

Anything is possible. If that's all that you had to fix to get going consider yourself very lucky. It could have wiped out everything electrical, computer and all, or worse yet burned the toon up. You hit the lottery with that one !!!!

Any other boaters near you have electrical issues? Maybe the lightning struck the water rather than your boat.
