Sorry, trying to figure out the posting system. Duh.

Mine is a dog. It jumps out of the water but feels laggy. From 5000rpm to 6000 there's no change in speed. That's just with 1/2 tank and the Queen and me. Feel like I am slipping. I had prop guy put a bit of cup in the prop which dropped max rpm to 5000 (yikes) : speed the same. Propgod says to go 13.5x12. But, with the 14x13 with no cup I was at 6100, so decreasing seems counterintuitive. Unless it was slipping like crazy, which is what yall will say. Any ideas? Max hp according to the sticker is 70. Mounted all the way down. I have one of those center pods that holds the tank, and that makes the wash very turbulent. Afraid if I lift I'll be in air.

Last tidbit. Previous owner kept it in the water with bottom paint. It was pretty bad when I got it. I've washed it very well tho admittedly there may be a little crud remaining on the inside of the toon, but hardly any. And, I have no underskin.

Help please

Your WOT RPM seems a bit low.

We're starting this thread to collect everyone's specs in one place. That way, anyone wanting to know how the different options will affect their own boat just can look in one spot to see everyone else's real world experiences.

Just hit the reply button to this post, which quotes the format, and edit it to fit your specs. Simple and easy.

Make sure you get in the small details like the size of your pontoons, do they have strakes, the brand, model name and HP; that sort of thing. If you happen to have a specialized option like the ESP or Dual Elliptical setup, or perhaps are running a jack plate, mention that too.

Oh, almost forgot... Let's try and keep this thread "single purpose". If you are reading the thread and realize you have a particular comment or question for someone in regards to their specs & numbers, just start a thread in the forum and make sure to include the person's Online Name in the thread title so that they know you wanted to ask them something.

That's about it. Have at it! B)

The hull configuration was changed to reduce drag. Top speed is limited by porpoising even with modest trim levels. Higher top speeds have been momentarily observed until porpoising became excessive. Still working on the porpoising problem.
