Knotter, welcome aboard!

Pretty simple.... keep electricity away from your pontoons and you'll have a boat.   :p

It's a long story ....

As with all boats, they shrink in the water, my second Bennington really did. Going from 2011 2575 RCW tri-toon, 250 Yamaha to:

Boat Model---   22RCW E

Model Year---   2017

Tube Option--   ESP with strakes

Motor-----------   250 Yamaha

Prop------------   Q3 14.2 X 18 pitch

Performance--  46 mph GPS, two adults, full fuel. Note, only held the WOT for a few seconds as the motor only had two hours registered. Very happy thus far with performance.

This is my third pontoon, 11th boat overall to fill bucket with money and throw into water  :)

Well, the delivery of my Bennington was much later than expected (long story), but I finally took delivery today.  20SSRX tri toon, 140hp Suzuki, in-toon storage, dual battery, Garmin GPS/fish finder, and Spend A Day threw in hydraulic steering for free due to the delivery snafu.  It's only had one voyage to the home dock, but so far so good.

Photos to follow. iPad won't let me get res low enough.

It looks like you have in the neighborhood of 32% slippage which seems really high. Maybe you have a excessive cavitation caused by motor height issues or similar. Maybe some of the experts can chime in here for some things to try.

Do you have strakes? If not I think you're done.

Are you trimming up at all once underway? Your boat with strakes will be very sensitive to trim. That would make sense for the high slippage unless you have everybody on the front seats and nothing to the rear, which would cause cavitation too.
