Hello everyone!

I've been scouring this forum for about a week now and after the recommendation of a Bennington customer service representative, I've joined the forum. I recently purchased a 2005 Bennington RL210, which seems to be an extinct breed now, but nonetheless still a boat put out by this company. After reading a few forum posts on here, I haven't found much information on the boat I own so I decided to be like the 5th person to post a thread about it and hope I get some luck. I was hoping to find an owners manual or some pamphlet of the boat, doesn't have to be a 2005 model, just something so I can reference stuff back to. Maybe if anyone else owns a Bennington Deck Boat, I'd love to see pictures of yours if you could post it on this thread! I will upload photos of mine when I get home from work.

Wow, only ever had a couple deck boats on here. Looking forward to seeing pics.
Not sure about back then, but the manuals are real generic. Not really a model specific type manual.

Welcome Justin and post some pictures of your new Benny!

Finally got the chance this morning to take some pictures, I got as many as I could without climbing the boat haha. It’s in good condition but the seats need some upholstery work and I attached a photo where you can see a part on the bow of the boat is missing a nice chunk out of it. If anyone has recommendations on how to fix that properly, it would be much appreciated. I’ve owned one other boat before this one and it was a 2002 Key West 1720 CC so this is quite the upgrade and a lot more boat. If anyone has any good information to lend me about my new purchase, that would be much appreciated as well.

Get some fiberglass and resin and watch some Youtube vids, or find a body shop that works on glass stuff. Worst case get some marine grade sealant and patch it. Not the best thing but it’s better than letting it exposed to water. Personally I’d do a quick glass repair on it.
By the way, nice find!!

Welcome Justin B, love the look of your deck boat. Truthfully I have never seen a boat manual (Bennington and any other)l that has been very helpful, too generic. Not sure exactly what information are looking for but if you have any specific questions ask away as we have some members that are very helpful

Just bought a 2005 RL251 - they had the manual i needed. If you cant find it i have it saved on my comp

The past few weeks I've been working on the boat to get everything in better condition. Lots of rusted pieces, cleaning seats, cleaning bimini, polishing/waxing. It's been quite the adventure so far. We've brought the boat out several times now, handles a lot better than the old Key West. Trailer needs some work but that was expected. I think the information I was hoping to find was more like blueprints for the boat to see how its all set up beneath the floor because there is a lot of weird directions that pipes and stuff are taking. I think that might be more along who did repairs or replacements on it though. So far its been great, fixed the radio so all the speakers work now and the motor got a new prop last weekend. Still need to do the fiberglass repairs, just haven't taken the plunge yet. @PTown I was unable to see the manual I'm looking for, if you can find yours again, send me the link. Thank you!

I just bought an 04 rl251, I looked on manualslib.com and came up empty handed

Here's our 2004 RL210. Looking for info about front anchor storage bin. Bin has drains but they're about 4" above the bottom of the box. was out on the 4th in some rough waves and bin got about 3" of water inside that wouldn't drain. just curious if anyone else has had this problem and what the fix is?

Decided to give my outboard a fresh look. When we purchased our boat it had been in dry storage since 2014 and apparently near some lighting or a window and the motor decals had badly faded. Shout out to Garzon Studios in GA, they specialize in replacement factory decals. here's our Johnson 140 4 stroke (made by Suzuki, their DF140) with new decals applied. Also in the bottom right of photo the new warning label made by Garzon also

Nice job! Looks brand new.

Looks like straight out of the showroom

Justin-

Nice to see another glass Bennington super sport!

Mine is a 2004 super sport with the red body panel and red striped upholstery.

I have what passed as the owners manual for these boats. As stated above, very generic, not too helpful and certainly did not have blueprints (or anything remotely close to that).
Nice looking boat. These glass Bennington deck boats are well worth saving.

Try some marine tex and some spray paint to color match the best you can and apply, tape off areas you don't want marine tex, sand with fine wet sand paper, worked for me on cream colored fiberglass

Good to see other glass owners on here. 2005 Azure AZ 210. I enlarged the drain hole in the anchor locker. Think I used a 3/8" drill bit. It helped
