New owner has questions about privacy enclosure 20SLM

New Bennington.jpg but I could not find an answer to this question. I have the privacy enclosure option. There appears to be more snaps on the canvas than there are places to snap them. Also is the enclosure able to be snapped to the opening and then closed so that it is always ready when popped up? I am wondering if the dealer installed this option correctly and would like to know more before I call them on this. Thank you all, great forum!
 
Yes, my last toon had more snaps on frame than canvas. I’m thinking it was swapped and new one had snaps already installed. We kept ours snapped in all the time. You could always add more snaps on the fame to match enclosure snaps.
 
I removed ours when I cleaned the boat at one time and never reinstalled it. We never used it. As for snaps, there were no extras.
 
Just popping in to say you have a nice looking boat. Congratulations. I will leave it to those with the privacy enclosures to provide details as we do not. Enjoy the upcoming summer boating season.
 
On our previous SLX We did open it once ,no extra snaps .
RCW has never been unrolled ,I guess I should check it .
 
I also have more snaps on the canvas and thought that was a result of a manufacturing decision to provide flexibility so that the privacy curtain could be used on different models

Our 2017 24sfx doesn't have any extra snaps.

You might be surprised...... it might be all mildew .....
 
Never thought about that :eek:.
We did bring the Bimini home because we never used it and the boot turned pink . ( It was replaced ,Thank You ) .The Bimini was OK .I guess I'll find out soon . If it does have mildew at least it is something small I can bring home to clean up
 
We don't have any extra snaps on ours. We use our privacy enclosure a lot and leave it snapped in and ready to go.
