Greeting all!

Just posting to say hi & introduce myself. Purchased a new Bennington a few weeks ago and we're loving it so far. I've owned JC's for years, but decided to try Bennington as I was not overly keen on the latest JC looks.

We purchased a RSR2350 because we loved the layout - Midnight black / sandstone with the platinum grass flooring (love this).

Looking forward to a great summer on our chain of lakes! Also looking forward to learning more about Bennington's via this forum. I visit car forums frequently and have always found them extremely useful and informative.

Here are some pictures of the toon!

Congrats on making the switch to Benninton! Where are you located?

Welcome to the club. Congrats on the new Benny!!! We also have the "R" series. You will be very happy with your decision. I love the colors. Be sure to post specs.

Congrats on the beautiful new Bennington! Question: What type of anchors are you using in the photo? They appear to be PVC. Did you buy them or make them? Thanks!

I had seen them before.

Here is a how to video

Very nice! Enjoy that new Benny...

Congrats, very nice.   I know exactly what you mean (from experience) about making the switch to Bennington.   You won't regret it.  Time to enjoy.

Sweeeet !!!

I'm not far from you... Strawberry Lake - on the Huron River chain of lakes.

It's a 115hp - nice motor & plenty of power for what we use the toon for.

The dock just went in a week ago - 90'

Yes, I made them. They are PVC with threaded rod handles secured with stainless washers & bolts. I threaded a loop clip to the rod in the center of the tube that protrudes through the top cap. No need for augers, you just shimmy them into the lake bed. Works great!

Thanks for the warm welcome all!

Nice. Not far at all. I'm actually headed to my Aunt's house off of Winans lake after work.  I've only been on portage but want to see more of the chain. Do you know if they are raising the bridge on McGregor with the current construction? It looked pretty tight when I launched my jet ski there years ago.

At least you have two!

Welcome to the family and congrats on the new toon. I used to work for Porsche.

Yes they are raising the Portage bridge.  It's in process right now and will be done in Aug.  It's only going to be 5' above the water so you will have to take the bimini down.   It's going to be like the same bridge that goes to Little Portage lake that they did last year.   You are able to go through as they are doing construction.

The chain is great.  You can take it from Portage all the way to Zukey lake and hit Zukey Lake Tavern.

See ya on the sand bar!

Great looking toy.  Congrats to the family.   I'm a newbie this year as well.

Maybe I'll try to take the boat there once this summer on a weekday. Hopefully it fits at the ramp!

You can put in at the state launch there.  That's where Wilson's dropped my new boat this year.

Welcome aboard. Great boat and great people here who are more than willing to help and offer opinions.
