I finally pulled the trigger and bought a 3d printer and in less than a week I have put 24 hours on it. Last night was my first concept to design to print item. After years of getting small bait stuck in the overflow tube, the problem has been solved. The holes should be large enough for small scales to still flow through.

It’s a Bambu lab p1s. I bought it as a combo with the AMS unit for $550. Not bad considering everything it can do. I am using Fusion as the design software which is free. Also bought $100 worth of filament that should last a long time. I printed new valve stem caps last night after my wife noticed my truck was missing one!

I've been eyeing up the p2s with AMS! I've never had a 3d printer, but Bambu seems to get a lot of good marks for first timers, and people that just want it to WORK and not have to tinker with constantly. I keep send my wife videos of neat things I see on Facebook and such saying "see, if we had one we could make these" hasn't worked yet!

They are super fun to play with and you can actually make some great things for around the house. My dad and brother both had the p1s for a while so they were my test cases and information that helped me decide on what to get.
