So I put the deposit down but came across another boat, although more expensive, May suit us better.
I feel like a traitor but it is a Sweetwater.

Congratulations and welcome! Sounds like you have a neighbor that’s in the business that you can trust That goes a long way especially since any boat you buy will need to be serviced and stored every year. The Bennington sounds like a great deal but if the Sweetwater is a better fit, go for it. You have to start somewhere. Once you start boating you’ll come to realize what you have and what you need. If you’re not into a used boat for too much it’s easier to upgrade if need be. Enjoy your boating journey!
