Phone Call......Boat has arrived at dealer:)

I'm still a little confused. Did Bennington change the terminology of the seating? On my boat "stern lounge upgrade" was adding padding and speakers to the rear loungers. "Chaise lounge upgrade", replaced the Co captains chair with a lounger.
I wondered the same thing. When I bought my 2013 2275RCW, it was called a "Limited" or RCWL. That replaced the standard open stainless aft area with wrap around aluminum rails, padding all the way up, and speakers in the rear corners. A bench lounge for the co-pilot was standard. I think they were just starting to offer either a chaise lounge upgrade with a pullout padded footrest for the co-pilot or the dual captain's chairs with the 1' longer 2375RCW.

You are correct the stern lounge upgrade is the padding and speakers in the stern loungers. The option they missed is the co-captain seat exchange.

Yes you guys are correct, it was the co-captain seat exchange, not the stern lounge upgrade that didn't get added. I explained it wrong in my original rant, my bad. Let me more explain the situation. We Saw the boat we wanted at Boat Show, lay out was exactly what we wanted on the floor display (co-captain) chairs. We added the followings: front bow sun lounge seat wedge, full sea grass flooring, dual battery switch, 46in ski pylon, interior blue accent, and stainless docking lights.

Afterwards, salesman gets with me, we go over options that were added to our order to the boat we saw at the show(2375GCW). I agreed all the options were there that we wanted and sounds good. I don't recall seeing co-captain, but at the time didn't know the "chaise lounge" was an option or standard, assumed we were ordering the co-captain GCW. So yes, I agreed to what we were ordering, but feel the salesman kinda dropped the ball and knew what we picked out , hell he even suggested that layout (co-captain)when we were looking.

We will see where it goes and what they can do. I have looked hard at the pictures of the chaise lounge, and it's nice but we want the co-captain, so to go with the chaise lounge, it would have to be one heck of an additional discount or something else thrown in to get us to go with what arrived, thanks again to everyone, this forum has been great, a wealth of information.

**UPDATE**UPDATE**UPDATE**

I spoke to my salesman tonight. The dealership spoke to Bennington and they are putting a rush order in, Dealership/Bennington promising delivery by 1st week of May. Im heading into dealership tomorrow to go over paperwork, order will be submitted tomorrow. For the mistake, they have offered to install/mount my Lowrance Fish finder for free , rather than charge labor as originally agreed upon. In the end, it looks like I should receive delivery by the weekend of the 15th of May, which was what we originally wanted for delivery. I didn't press too hard on trying to get anyting thrown in "extra", as I'm just not that type of person. I fell I was treated fair, and mistake was rectified.

In the end, the dealership did what they said they would do, and "made it right". I am however thinking of putting  in writing to have something thrown in (winterization/maintenance, etc), if delivery does get delayed, a just in case.

Hey all, just got back from dealership, went over order, and it was submitted to Bennington Today. We are looking at delivery to dealership first week of May....With a tentative delivery to the lake on May 17. Salesman and Dealership were great to work with and looks like the mistake is rectified. Bring on the new boat and bring on the warm weather.

Get the 150 HP

Awesome! All dealers make mistakes so to me it's not necessarily what they did but how they took care of it. I think you handled it great and sounds like you got a great 'partner' dealer too.

Congrats on the new boat too. I'm sure you'll love it!

Congratulations

Nothing is better than a

Thanks All, I appreciate all the words of encouragement. Look so forwardt to this summer at our lake house. This forum(bennington family) has been great. And to remediation, just couldn't justify the 150hp, we may regret, but if we do if will give me a reason to upgrade to an R..lol.

When you go to the R you will hang a 250 on it and smile all day long
