You could also just remove the cup holder completely for now and just "sandwich" the hole with a nice material above the hole and something below the hole (obviously just slightly bigger in diameter) then do a ram mount on it

Just a heads up, YOU'RE a lot more deep south where the rednecks originated!  Only way we get rednecks up here is if there's a strong windchill and we get frostbite on our necks!
