Open sea, in a pontoon...........yikes
Some other brand took their tritoon from Tampa to Cuba. They have a YouTube vid of it. I have no doubt it could be easily done in a Bennington. If Bennington wants to do it, I would volunteer.

This summer I’m going to take mine offshore. If conditions are right it can be done. Local dealer down here says there is a guy who takes his Benny out the Jupiter inlet.

Cleaning up from a early week blizzard.

Land Yacht. Sold SR 420 SD and now waiting on 27RSBA X2. Ordered in November 21 being told cautiously optimistic about a June build. Looking forward to the downsize and flexibility.

Getting ready for 3 dads and 3 High school seniors to take a senior trip to South Dakota for a Prairie dog hunt in July. Finally got the Savage Bmag 17 WSM broken in. 2 five shot groups breaking the barrel in and .6" grouping at 100 yards. its a PITA to break them in by shooting 10 shots (1 round each, then clean), then 3 three shot rounds (clean after shooting each 3 round group) then doing the same thing with 3 five shot group (clean after each 5 shots), but the end result is well worth it.

Taking 2 guns per person as you can shoot 700-1000 rounds a day and the barrels heat up you need to rest 1 weapon while you shoot another.

The 224 Valkyrie is the howitzer of the bunch. 1300 yards, the round is still super sonic. This gun shoots about .35 MOA so 1000yds is about 3.5". All guns have MRAD scopes which have hold overs for windage as well as yardage.

The other 2 guns we are taking are a 223 Wylde in a AR platform and a Ruger 77 in heavy barrel VT configuration

Nice! Never had rifles but have had a Rossi 5 shot 2 inch barrell .38 since the early 80's. A Police duty Smith and Wesson 4 inch barrell 6 shot .38 that was my original duty weapon back in the day before we transitioned to semi automatics. And a whole bunch of 9mm Sig Sauer hand guns over the years! Too many to list.......

No pics worth posting, but from 1970 till 2006, I was eat up with golf. Played at the highest amateur level for a long time. Never got the itch to play professional, though. I knew my limits.

From there, I shot professional 3d archery for several years. Always looked for new challenges, and I traveled the country for that one. Did that about 10 years, but it really took a toll on my shoulders.

I have been an avid hunter all my life. Used to deer hunt nearly every day (with a bow), but eventually gave that up. Age changes a lot of things.

Played a lot of basketball, baseball, and softball when I was young. Always athletic, but never played football. I was too brittle. 6'7" and about 150. 6'5" and 230 now. Lol

Now my hobby is boating, retirement, and my wife of 2.5 years. I earned it after traveling all over the world for 25 years and never being home during the week. I love taking care of my 50 acres to this day. Dogs, cats, tractors, and big lawn mowers. My Mother is 90 now, and that's time consuming, too, but worth it.

No, they are a nuisance animal which harms cattle and livestock with their holes which can break the cattle and livestock's legs. They actually carry bubonic plague, but very limited on passing them on to humans due to they usually die before its able to be transmitted to other animals or humans. There was a big outbreak back in 2019 which closed lot a lot of a Colorado wildlife refuge.

I get it, kinda like shooting rats at dumps. thanks.

My last daily carry weapon is 12 yrs old and am having trouble finding parts from Sig Sauer or anywhere else for my P 250 SC 9mm. (Ejector spring) So I decided to retire it and bought a new Sig Sauer P 365 9mm for every day use...... Small, easily concealable, fits like glove and built like tank!, Still very capable with a 10 Rd magazine and 1 in the chamber. Nice weapon.I like Sigs, but I did some research and found Taurus has made a huge improvement in their quality and is now rated as a good “economical” choice. I picked up a G3C (12&1) and was very pleased with range results. I was so pleased I found a olive drab model at the local pawn shop, like new, for under 2 Benjamin’s, so now I have 2, the first all black. Being I wear running shorts and no belt, I found a belly band is my preferred c/c use.

There are so many nice weapons/brands out there! I carried a Sig 226 for years at work! It's like the Cadillac of semi autos ! So smooth, reliable, accurate, double, single action trigger pull and practically shot itself! Ha! So of course I'm biased towards that brand! A friend of mine has a nice Taurus. Forgot the model but it was almost half the price of my new Sig! Over the years I have tried so many ways to carry comfortably. Yes I have a belly band but haven't used it much lately. My preferred way is to use the leather pancake holster with a belt. I have about 10 pairs of "coaches or referees" shorts that have belt loops. I can wear a polo shirt or T shirt and you can't even tell I have it on! If I wear gym shorts I'll still wear a belt and just put the gym shorts over it. When we go on the boat I have a nice small compact fanny pack that holds the weapon and credentials. I never did like the inside the waistband holsters. I have a Fobus retention holster when I requalify...

I have a Sig Mosquito (.22 cal) that I use for plucking. I can not get my son to shoot it, he has to have the 9mm (Beretta 92FS Inox). Between the two, Beretta is much easier to tear down and clean but Mosquito is cheaper to shoot and fits the hand better.
