A little more fun today. Can't beat a Monday on the bay as myself and my cousins 2 boats were the only ones for miles and miles around. Shelby beat me again but I did have my wife telling me it was too rough and to take it easy with her. HAHHAHA

Driving through Palm Springs this weekend on the way to Havasu (our first trip of the summer), it suddenly became sweltering in the car - the AC went out. After 3 hours trying to find a shop, I found a perfect way to get my 2007 Expedition AC fixed, buy a certified 2017 model! And BAM - everything worked liked new, imagine that! Back on the road and still made it in time to launch the Benny! Our 07 was a workhorse and gave us 18 wonderful years camping, soccer transport, RV pulling and Boat Launching!

We rented a 2022 Expedition in Colorado and I have to say after all the crap Ford products my family has owned over the years, I was impressed! Engine pulled hard and the 9 or 10-speed tranny never hunted.
If these weren't so danged expensive (looked at the hi-po Timberline/Stealth models with the 3.73 rear) we'd have one in the driveway!

We had a 2008 Expedition that just turned 100000 miles before we sold it last year! But it was in new condition! 68 people inquired about it on FB Marketplace and a bidding war broke out! Loved that vehicle!!!

1980 purchased in 1988 still have it.

Upgrades so far: Changed out bumpers, added winch, spare tire brake light, picked up slightly damaged hood for $250 (getting repaired next week for $600), new unpainted …$1100, at the end of the day, probably saved $800-$1000 on hood.
