Nice looking ride!  That was one that I was looking at, but the tow rating is only around 5K lbs, so I went with the Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. It has around 7K lbs ability to tow.

I drove mine for two years before getting the tires and wheels. I would have done sooner but had some front end issues (tie rods and ball joints). I love the engine brake when coming down the hill with boat in tow.

Thank you! It's the LT1 w/6 speed. I wish it was the LS-series motor, but that didn't come along until '98.

Yes, a 13.99 @ 100 mph in the quarter. When I, or should I say we, were kids, that's what a '70 Chevelle SS 396 ran in the 1/4 mile.
 
My dream muscle car is a 70 chevelle ss 454. My father in law is retired from GM now and looking for something. I'll be curious to see what he gets.

I had a 1970 "SS 454" El Camino back in the day. Then, we hit a Buick Electra 225 three quarters head on in Thurmond, WV in 1975, totaling both cars. It drove our right front wheel clear back to the "A" pillar. Luckily no serious injuries in either car. I still dream/nightmares (depending on mood) about that car and incident. 
 
Glad you are ok. That must have been some wreck.
