My 20SFST did not come with welded eyes at the top of my toons in the rear for strapping down. Any idea why not? All pontoons I’ve ever seen has them.9EEC86D6-EA42-4FE2-8851-5229C189830D.jpeg8ECD3C81-1368-45B9-B807-9FC4D3B8DE95.jpeg

Welcome to the forum TxRick! Yup I've never seen any pontoon boat without those welded eyes either. Suggestions..... Use at least a 2 inch strap to ratchet your rear end down. Or shorten that orange strap on the right. Those knots would pull out if you really needed that strap to hold your boat. JMO. Screenshot_20220607-024146.png

Right from website shows an SX without them. Wonder if there’s been issues with people using as towing eyes.

I've never seen a Bennington with them. Every one that I've seen, or noticed, has the eyes on the rear rub rail, as shown in the OP's picture. That's how mine is, and it is an older boat.

interesting. I too have never seen a toon (Benny or otherwise) without them? Mines a 2011

My lug is attached to the back decking as shown and I actually had a bracket fabricated up and bolted to the trailer frame to attach the other end to keep the strap so the strap wouldn't be resting on depth finder bracket. Works great!

Interesting. Our 2017 has them as you would normally expect them on the rear of each outside pontoon.
