Has anyone had the rough water package installed after purchase either by the dealer or diy? Any info would be appreciated.

its a cheap add on and it helps to reduce noise as the waves hit the sides of the pontoons

I have owned the boat for 2 years 20 sli and curious if anyone has done this aftermarket. Does anyone know roughly what it costs through the dealer?

I am curious as well, I am not sure what the rough water package is exactly, hopefully someone knows the answer.

Rough water package is an aluminum skin covering the ribs under the deck. On choppy days you can feel the resistance of the waves hitting the ribs.

I'm guessing every dealer will be different based on location, labor rates, etc.....

You will need to contact your dealer for a quote or it may be something you can do yourself.

Look back through the threads, as I know there have been people that have done it themself.

As I understand it, the Rough Water Package includes boxed spray deflectors on the bow end of the tubes and a bit of extra reinforcement in the transom, though I've never seen exactly what that looks like compared to standard. The wave shield underneath is a separate option, not part of the package, but is already included in the ESP package.

Here are an example of the boxed front spray deflectors someone did on their own:

Here is a picture of Bennington's rough water package version:
