Hello everyone, I'm new to the club and I have a question. I just purchased a. 2018 21ssx pontoon boat and we are looking to add a Bimini to the front of the boat. 1st is it possible for us to add a second one to the boat and if so where can we get one. Any help would be be good. If you know sites we can get it from please post them so I can shop around.

Thank you again.

Thank you again.

Ordered the double bimini from the dealer when they built my boat.

2nd bimini is a must out here in AZ during the summer. When it really starts cranking just getting out of the direct sunlight helps a lot.

We have the second Bimini and love it. Super nice to be able to shade the whole boat

I believe it was around 1500 extra when I ordered the boat.

Where did you get that rear bimini set up. I have a r23 and would like a more stream line bimini option and don't need all the coverage in the front but would like to get that set up like you have in the back of the boat kinda like a light duty tower that uses the existing rail braketry.

It would have been an layout/bimini option. Which bimini do you have now? There are a few different ones on Bennington’s depending on what you buy.

As for the light duty tower, you cannot easily or cost effectively add that type of set up after the fact due to how its built into the boat.

You might check the Facebook Bennington page - I have seen several posted for sale over the years. Better, post that you are looking for a used double Bimini setup (generally from people upgrading to ski arches). But - buying used is fraught with risk - your best bet is ordering direct from a dealer. I would assume an aftermarket system would also work - but most likely easier to replace the entire system. Be sure to get the cable stays if you cruise over 30 mph (see front of Benny in picture below).
