So it's been crazy hot for over a week here in California. Due to the heat and the amount of sun we have been avoiding using them till after it cools down. I have always thought that our patio shade would make a great rear Bimini. So today I decided to try it out.

Dang that thing must be huge, it makes your Q look small .... Good idea !!

How does it handle at 40mph? Hehe just kidding, great idea!

You can see mine in my gallery. I used a 10 footer that tilts. As the sun goes down I tilt it to stay in the shade. Makes the front recliners much more useful. With my electric top I point the stern toward the setting sun and tilt the top and it shades the entire boat. Three of the 18 volt Ryobi battery fans with the shade will make a 105 degree Arkansas day fairly pleasant. Steve

We take it down while under way and then slide it into the ski pole when we are in calm waters

It's pretty big and your able to project shade pretty much any where you like . You can tilt the shade at a bunch of diffrent angles depending on where you like

Ahh, the ski pole!! I was wondering how the heck ya had it standing up there!! I would need it, my wife just loves baking in the sun! Although we're in Canada, not nearly the constant sun as you guys!

What happened to your lake???

Those are huge waves compared to all your other pics.
