Very nice.
Is there anything in this world more trusting than a good Beagle?

A favor to ask of each & everyone.
Please pick a pet that needs a home.
I do not mean to bash breeders, however, every pet obtained from a breeder means that there is 1 less homing option for the countless pets locked up in pounds & rescue facilities that will either A-get adopted or B- get destroyed or C- die in confinement.
This sounds harsh, but every life a breeder brings into the world robs the home from a pet that already exists.

Please, in honor of the memory or your passed beloved pets, rescue you future pets. I truly believe that they realize the second chance you are giving them.

This is (Crazy) Mazy, our 45 lb pit-lab mix that I got from our local shelter Christmas of last year. I picked her out knowing she had heart worm and was in a year long treatment plan. She was in a county run shelter that would have undoubtedly euthanized her if she wasn't picked soon. After getting her home and to the vet, found out she also had tape worm, ring worm and kennel cough. So she was sick as a dog (pun intended). She has rebounded beautifully and shows no after effects of the heart worms.

Wife and I have had dogs for almost all of the past 35 years. Mazy is the most affectionate little bitch we've ever had. She sleeps curled up in a ball under my left arm between my wife and me and doesn't move a muscle for hours. She has two gears: playing or snuggling. And she loves sunset cruises on her Bennington.

In the end, the same mercy you granted Mazy will in turn be granted to you!

Mr Sippy is a Katrina rescue. My wife is a Veterinarian and when a rescue organization transported a truck load of rescues to the St Louis area she decided she was going to foster one of the high risk pups like German Shepard’s, Rots, Dobermans, ect. So we ended up with a Chow who had read the Labrador Retriever “how to manual”. She determined he had bad hips and the rescue organization said he would be euthanized. Well that didn’t happen and he has ended up being my wife’s clinics mascot. Everyone loves him. His name is from his origin, Mississippi. He is now pushing we believe 17 years old and has the mind of a puppy but his body isn’t doing so well. We will enjoy his company for now and will miss him when he’s gone.
The picture of him on his back is him lounging at the lake house!!!

Awesome!

These 2 spoiled pit (mixes) are Red and Sidney, going on 12 years old we adopted the at 14 weeks old from local shelter. They are not big fans of swimming but they love boat rides and sunbathing on the dock...these 2 have no clue how good they have it!

Winston loves the water! Great Boat dog.

New to the family. This one will need a life jacket. Our Nieghbor has one that loves the water but swims like a stone. ( second pic is a year later, she loves the toon!)
