By boat is less than 3 years old and I just discovered some damage ( appears to be stress breaks ) along a 6 inch by 1 inch aluminum piece of angel that runs above the pontoon . The cracks are in identical spots on both sides of the boat . Has anyone noticed similar damage ? See pictures for better understanding of what I am referring to .
Thx

That’s where they notch the aluminum’s for the angle. It’s not stress cracks.
They could not bend the angle without those relief cuts.

Yup I thought that too but you’d think the ‘relief’ cuts in the angle bar would be clean cuts and not like what it is . Thanks for your input .

It looks like they used a nipper . It looks the same on mine .

Ok thanks for all your input. Just thought it looked odd but some of you have the same so I guess the way it’s intended to look .

Ditto what others said. Looks the same on our boat too.
