This motor is really something. Until gigem posted this, I'd never heard of Seven Marine.

Forums cultivate opinions, and mine is that 425 hp on a pontoon so you can “show up” another boater is absurd. Similar to the guy who wants to mod a Ford Focus to out run a 911. It’s still a Ford Focus.... Why don’t you just buy a 911? What do you have to prove...?

I do it because “I” can. I’ve modified many cars over the years myself and if I had enough money I’d probably do the same to my boat.

I can dig it. The gentleman asked for opinions. It was less the actual “modification” and more the stated motivation that prompted mine.
