Yes Lakeliving, it is the shallow water that would scare me as well. The intercostal is a whole new game from being on a lake

The water clarity is lacking as well on the St Lucie River so at one point it showed I was in 2.5 ft of water. Trimmed up and idled back out. I think a nice GPS with depth chart will be in my future. Do you ever get down our way? Let me know if you do.

Haven't ventured down your way yet but am going to stay with friends on Pine Island off the coast of Ft Myers soon
