On the left of the switches. Some kind of mount for something? Anyone have any ideas?

Looks like it was broken off ,it was not installed at the factory

Almost looks like a “Ram Mount“ base with the adapter broke off like Jack said.

Switch on the right..... Low beer alarm. Haha! What does the middle switch represent?!? Let's see..... Loch Ness monster tethered to a submarine. Hmmm....

I'd like to know where to get replacement switches like those. Two dealers have been unresponsive. I have changed the docking lights power to an unused "acc" switch, but would like to have a good "docking Lights" switch.

I don’t think it is a broken piece. Too smooth every where.

As to the switch covers, I wish I could take credit. See this thread.

If you zoom in you can see the plastic fatigue on right

The mount looks to be broken off inside.

Drill a small hole in bottom, and punch out the old mount. I don’t know how to pull it out, if you try to drill it, it will probably just spin. If you could some how drill into the face and get a screw turned into it, you might be able to pull it out.

Try to unscrew it from the helm ,it may fall out from the back

They are solid back (if Ram Mount) that’s what creates the friction. Never hurts to try though.

I did not know that ,Ive never used one
