Which one??

Just click that little box marked

"loaded to the gills" LOL !!!

We didn't order one, its just on order. I'm sure they can add stuff down the line, if we find ourselves needing more boat or motor then we can always trade in for something else. I have a wife and two girls so I'm sure the 115 will be fast enough for them. If the friends want to go faster then I will show them on the map where the closest dealership is.
You are right - It will be fast enough. It will bog down with a lot of people, but your nameplate says 115, so there you go.

I wish I could get a loaded one, maybe if I lived somewhere it could be used longer than a few months a year it would be justified. But the camper, boat, truck (2500), and lake lot, I think I've hit the recreational summer money spending cap.

Just called the dealer that's farther away and he extended the warranty on the motor from 3 to 5 years and gave us a hotel room for the night when we come pick up the pontoon

If that is a Mercury you are getting ,they have an extended warranty promotion going on until the end May,and I believe delivered by August .Mine has 5 years written on the sales slip .

Sounds like a good dealer to be putting you up for the night .

Are they coming back to your lake for the orientation ?

Not sure about the lake thing, but a walk through would probably suffice. I'm lucky to have a father in law that's a semi pro walleye fisherman that could teach me the ropes on the water

Ok, I am new and have a dilemma. We are going to become Bennington owners next week, but I am torn between two boats. Could you guys help me out a little deciding which one

First one a Bennington SS tritoon with 115 merc 4 stroke, sink, privacy station, battery switch, in-floor storage, docking lights, fish finder, upgrading skirting, and ski pylon. Bad thing is its 6 hrs away so prob not much for support if something goes wrong. Good thing is its in stock

Second one is Bennington SSI express with 115 merc, fish finder, g series recliner, stereo, tilt steering, docking lights, enclosure, teak table, logos. Not in stock but 5 dealership is 5 min from my house, mid Jun etac.

Both come with tandem trailers and I have them both down to 34ish.

Which one?
I would need the ESP or SPS package to get a bigger motor. Neither have that package.

Forgot to add they are both the 22'
I thought you said one is a tritoon and one is the express? The tritoon would have to be the SPS package, it's the only option. Double check to make sure that it isn't an express package and that it is a full center pontoon. If it is, then it's max hp is the 150. I will also add, we haven't had any issues with our last two Bennington's, I have a local Yamaha guy that does my services and would do warranty. The only issue we had was a broken zipper on the bimini, and I think the wife might have closed it improperly and it got crushed, but Bennington sent me a new one and all is well!!

Well I called the dealer further away and told him we will take the one in stock. It being there and having the sink, in floor storage, and the ski pylon were too big of factors to turn away. Hopefully it can be ready for water before Memorial Day

Yeah Derrick I called and told him my concern with being further away. He said he can send me parts if something came up. I'm an aircraft mechanic by trade so hopefully I can figure it out.

Congrats! You now own a Benny!

I would hope so .... Did you even put enough hours on motors to "break them in" ? You are with boats like I am with cars !!! LOL !!!

Thanks and hopefully we will own it longer than Derrick owned his last one. :)

Excellent, remember PICS !!!!!!! (When it's in)

Yup ! Pics or it didn't happen, a remember, what happens here is all over the internet.

Yup!

BenB.

We have the Bennington 2012 22 SSI 3 tube XL performance Package 150 Mercury 4 stroke. Boat runs 42 mph (GPS) with 6 adults on-board. Pulls skiers, tubers & wake boarders with no problem! The S series is a lighter pontoon boat and the performance & ride is outstanding.

Thanks Bill, I was thinking 31 - 33 would prob be tops for ours. Of course that's all depending on prop. I'm sure I will be researching that once we get the boat on the water. Heading down next weekend to pick her up, barring anything comes up at work.

Congrats on your purchase! Sounds like she's a beauty!

Haha, taking the old pearl to the dealer tomorrow! Luckily West Hawk Marine are great people and he's going come this way a bit, so I only have to drive about 9 hours round trip instead of 12-13!! Much appreciated Kevin!! She's going to be an early one though, hope to be on the road between 6-6:30, have to get in early so he can haul butt back to open his dealership! THAT'S CUSTOMER service!!
