What kind of fish is that?

Its a paddle fish out of the missouri river right below gavins point dam. This is a slot fish you can only keep one on either side of 35"-45" I think this one was about 37" you measure them from the eye to the split in the fork tail so big ones get to 100+ lbs and well over 6' total.

Pretty sure the sign behind you says "Restricted", no wonder the fishing is so good there  8)

The Restricted sign for when they have the overflow gates on the dam open The season runs the month of Oct. and is by permit tag only one per person.
