I had the same problem with my KMC10 after just 2 months. Head unit just died and would not turn on. I called my dealer and they swapped it out for me same day. Well see how long this one lasts. There is a new version of this head unit on the Bennington web site. KMC100. Has additional outputs.

Run it with RCA’ connected to see if it changes the sound at all.

I had the dealership pre run the amp power wire from the battery to the helm, since thats where i mounted my amp.

I also have the wave shield on my swing back and running the wire from the front seat to the helm was easy. It runs along the back of the front seat and then into the helm compartment. Took me about 10 minutes to fish it through.

The 12 in the back was ok but not enough for me.

Just added another sub to the boat. I have the Rockford Fosgate 12 inch punch in the back seat and now added this 10 inch Kicker TB tube to the front. Fits great and sounds great. Install was easy with an amp located in the helm.

Yes that is how mine was originally wired. Do you have an amp in your set up?

I did run 2 separate sets of speaker wires from the helm back to the back of the boat thinking that was how I was going to have to separate them. But the purple, purple black wires go to the right stern speaker and green, green black wires go to the left stern speaker. I guess I could add some...

Yep it doesn’t fully fade. I have the 4 interior speakers running off the front RCA’s and the 2 sterns off the rear RCA’s. The new KMC100 supposedly will fully fade but not the KMC10.

I have a 2019 23ssbxp with the Yamaha F250 digital controls. Prop is the SWS II 15.5 17P. The motor is in the lowest hole. Just passed the 10 hour break in. I’m hitting 46mph WOT with a full tank of gas(46 gallons) and 4 adults onboard. My RPM is only at 5400 though.

I also have the KMC10 Head unit with Kicker lighted speakers. I didn’t go for the amp or sub upgrade since I was planning on doing that myself. In the process of setting up the amp I’m a little confused. I have the kmc10 wiring diagram but need the speaker wiring diagram after the head unit...

I followed the wiring diagram for the KMC10 and then ran the new separate wires to stern.
