i have heard that the lake gets very rough on the weekends. Does anyone have a lake house there or been there recently?

I did get it a Hawkeye, they are good people to work with. I put in at Spruce Creek, just north of Bellevue. Maybe we will run into each other one of these days.

"Pool" just refers to the body of water between the Lock and Dam.  Dubuque to Bellevue Iowa is Pool 12, I believe Pool 9 runs from Lynxville WI to Hapers Ferry IA.
