Okay members, need some help!
Got my amps wired and installed under helm. I have the Kicker upgrades with LED lighting in them with a Kicker head unit.
Power wires running directly to amps from battery. Everything is proper size, maybe oversized.
Problem I have:
Sitting still without...
Thanks for the feedback guys. I have my amps mounted and wired up, and will be attempting to run the power wires tomorrow. For those that have done this before, any tips or tricks you can share? I have the rods and a small fish tape. My goal is to not remove any panels as I am not real sure I...
I have decided to add two amps to my new boat. One for existing speakers and one to power a sub that I will add to console.
I found a set of wires under the console that are not connected, but have a white clip attached to them.
In an effort to try not to run power wires from the battery...
Got the boat back today with all speakers working. Dealer found a connection under the boat that was not complete, so they got it fixed. Took 3 days to find and fix.
So I want to put a trash can or two on my new Bennington. I was thinking about using the flip up backrest storage area to accomplish this.
Anyone built something that fits inside those? Or, what do you guys do for trash can?
My new Bennington has lights on the side from the factory, but my last boat did not, and I added them myself.
I went to Lowe's and bought those heavy duty black zip-ties that have the screw hole in them. Then, I took a small self tapping screw and ran those through the aluminum on those cross...
I'm just going to ram the side of mine into the dock and get it over with. Maybe it won't hurt as bad if I just intentionally scratch and dent it?! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!
We have never owned a new boat, so we are being super careful with everything right now. Our first boat was a 1987 JC with a...
Not sure how long they are going to have it. They were supposed to pick the boat up today, but due to the weather conditions here they decided to wait until tomorrow to get it. Dealer seems to think that it won't take very long and believe that it's something simple.
I really hope that it is...
Yeah the swingback was a must have when we started looking at Bennington. The versatility of the lounger is the best design out in my opinion.
The loungers are a decent idea, but they seem to isolate those sitting in them from the rest of the crowd. So, we love the ability to create a bench...
Fenders? What's that!!!
The dealer we purchased from actually gave us those really nice over-sized black fenders for our boat, with matching fender lines. So we are good there.
What you don't see in this picture is that the dock had permanent fenders installed on the side of the decking, so...
We have the Swingback and two small children as well. We elected not to put the rails on ours for a few reasons. First, according to our interpretation of the rules, no one is allowed to ride on the lounger while the boat is under power. Second, we thought that the rail, if installed, would only...
We took delivery of our 2018 25' Bennington 25SSBXP on Friday of last week.

HAHAHAHAHA! Good point! I think what I meant was that maybe a small amp would have been a better idea for a six speaker system here? Who knows, it was late and I was frustrated.
The dealer is (obviously) going to fix the problem, and I think I'm going to move forward with an amp installation...
Took delivery of my brand new 2018 25SSBXP on Friday. Realized left side speakers are not working. Dealer swapped head unit thinking that might be the problem. Nope.
Any ideas?
First question I really have is why would Bennington manufacture a boat with a six speaker option, only to install a...
