1999 22' with a 100hp Yamaha - Speed?

I tried a bunch of different props on mine and the 4 blade 13.25x13 pitch 4 blade just happened to work the best. The 13.75x13 pitch 3 blade was a close second and is my backup. I do have one more Solas 4 blade 13x15 pitch that I tried and I’m looking to sell it if interested. I turned 5500 rpms with it if I remember correctly.

Well, I currently have a 3 blade.. and if I'm looking for top speed increase, would I want another 3 blade? Do you remember the specs of your stock prop?

How much do you want for the prop? I'm looking for a 600 RPM increase.

When I got the boat from the original owner it had a white Yamaha cleaver style 17 pitch and I could only hit 5200 rpms. Here’s what the 4 blade Solas looks like. To me the 4 blade just gave me the best of both worlds, great hole shot and still a good top end.

I'm definitely overpropped, but my hole shot is great. I need more RPMs and hopefully a couple MPHs on my top speed. Let me take a look at my prop specs. I may be interested.

It’s a Solas 9431 135 15. Do you want to sell your backup?

I ordered a stainless steal Solas 13.75 - 13 pitch. I’ll update on the rpm increase. Fingers crossed.

UPDATE:::

So, the stainless prop I ordered was listed on Ebay as RH Rotation, but they sent me LH and said the description was an error. Then I notice my boat was sinking, so I had the leaking toon drained and repaired at a shop that happened to have a Solas ALUMINUM 13 pitch prop, so I grabbed it. Put it back on the water today (in strong wind) and hit 26mph on my app with a full tank by myself at 5300rpm! Going from a stainless 15 pitch to an aluminum 13 pitch - I gained about 800 rpm. I'm happy!

The chart from Yamaha says max RPM should be between 5000 and 6000. I'm sure I could drop another pitch, but 24mph with the family onboard should get us through the summer. My max rpm had dropped to more like 4300-4600 with the old prop. I can see how one might end up with 3 backup props, ha.

it's hitting 5600 RPM all of the sudden. My tach may be a little unpredictable, but I'm also learning the trim capabilities of the aluminum prop vs the stainless.
