303 Protectant On New Vinyl-Good Or Bad Idea?

Got my new boat today. Is applying 303 on brand new vinyl a good or bad Idea? If a bad idea what should I be doing for a first time treatment?

Don't do it once and forget it  Keep it up on a regular bases. 

Does anyone have a staining at the corners of their Bimi? I noticed yesterday,that after the bimi was put up that I have some staining and wondered if it is mold. If it is mold how do I get it cleaned up with out disturbing the water proofing?
