anyone out there running a 90 etec on a 22ft?

What series, I noticed the S series is a little faster than the others, probably due to weight?

Also Darrel look in the Power and props section to see what others are getting for a similar setup. You can also go to the Yamaha site and enter your specs to see what speed you can expect

I would say 24 or so, depending on toon setup too

Curious [and Insomnia] so just looked at Props & Power for some 90HP:

Friars 2275 Gfi- Elepticals - 25mph

qapd 2275 Sfi - 25" toons - 24mph

Fasttr - 22 Ssi - 25" toons - 23mph

Darrell, look at Fastr in Members Zone: Props & Power he has some good info on a matrix he posted with Empty Boat / Loaded Boat with different pitches

Link - where is that matrix you mentioned above?

Found it. Page 1 of "List your Specs"

On our 24SLi with a 115hp I get 27 typically - got 29 once with very light load and very clean logs. If you have standard 2, 25" logs I bet about 24-25 mph typically.

We have a 22SLX with two tubes and a 90 HP Mercury. The top speed for us with two up and full tank is 27 MPH. The pitch on the prop is 14/13. Have Fun

I've got a 2075 with 23inch toons and a "sport" toon in the middle and it doesn't go fast enough...20 to 22 if I'm lucky...not GPS. I love the moter but would not go less than a 115 again or even 150.
