Flag won't stay up on anchor light pole...

We put our flag on the anchor light pole (attached to our bimini frame), using the clips that came with the flag. The flag always falls down to the bottom of the pole, though once we ware underway. I've seen pictures of others who have put their flag on the same spot.

Any tips to keep that suckers from falling down to the bottom of the pole?

I use zip ties instead of the clips that came with it. You can tighten them and the flag will stay where you want it.

Here is a picture of the zip ties on the flag. It never moves until time to remove and replace.
