Noooooooo!!!

Get the real thing from B.

I'm not getting anything . I am very happy .

I was just posting  if any one wanted to add strakes if this would/could replace them .

I haven't been reinfected ,yet

I don't think there has been any proven numbers to show it works.

Would hinder using load guides, pontoon rack on lift & scissor trailer.

Would make boat over width.

The designer has taken serious abuse for his claims on other pontoon forums.

Yes, he is a member of the Pontoon and Deckboat magazine forum and his business is located in the Lake Norman area. The magazine has done side by side testing of his T.A.P. Fins system vs. lifting strakes...........check out back issues of the magazine to see the results............

Can understand why get direct from Bennington but curious from an engineering point of view - Why wouldn't this work as well as Bennington's

They are not the same thing as Bennington's strakes. They only deflect water spray, which is not nearly as dense as the surface of the lake, and so they can't possibly provide as much lift as factory strakes.

Think of it this way. If you jumped off a tall bridge, and halfway down there was a sprinkler set up, how much do you think the water spray would slow you down? Compare that with smacking the surface of the lake or river below the bridge.
