For those of you with gauges that show GPH, I’m curious what numbers your seeing.
I’m seeing 3.8 GPH at 3500 rpm and 3.4 GPH at 4000 rpm. I haven’t checked my GPH at full throttle yet.

15.1 at WOT
Yamaha 150

Ahhhh the advantage of being a slow cruiser. Never really checked but I was curious so I looked at my Yamaha engine performance bulletin and saw that at my normal cruise speed of 14mph I am probably burning around 3 gallons an hour

Lol ... mines around 3 gph full throttle.... :p:p

This post reminds me of a song: “James” by a local Dr here who sings in the bars on the side for fun. Actually a true story he wrote about a guy in town that rides in a handicapped scooter all over town without a care in the world. The great line in the song;
‘50 smile an hour, passing the water tower, eating ice cream in the rain’
And that’s what my boat gets. 50 smile an hour. I guess I’ll care about the gallons if I ever run out.

Allot!

At no wake speeds (1100RPM) I'm burning 3.4GPH

At 4000RPM (27MPH) I'm burning about 8GPH

At WOT 6200-6400RPM its burning 16.7-17.3GPH 50MPH

26 gph at full throttle with my Yamaha 300.

I can get to 25gph pretty easy and I try to keep it under 15 gah when cruising around 30mph
