Though the weather has been rainy and cool

I have been running the hours up on The Benny and The Yamaha F90

Almost 30 hours already !!!

As promised I have been having the time of my life

Here in Ohio our Marina has Marine Gas No Ethanol 87 Octane

Cost 4.50/gallon self serve

My question is what are you paying ?

Yamaha says reg 87 Octane will do

But for the convenience and the better quality, carrying gas to the lake doesn't make sense

Street with ethanol ,$3.89 for regular . Marina 90 octane NO ethanol $6.50 .

I carry 20 gallons at a time .Found a nearby station that sells 90 octane ethanol free $4.25

I have posted this before ,searchable by state for ethanol free stations .

Street ethanol 87 Octane = $3.80

Off shore No ethanol 91 Octane =  $4.21

My boat is in water, I have three 5-gallon cans I fill up with ethanol free gas on the way to the lake.  I would much rather fill up on the water but since ethanol free gas is not available at any of the marinas I am committed to carrying.  I now do the same for my lawn tractor and snowblower

Street with ethanol: $3.30

Marina: 90 octane, no ethanol, Valvtec Cert: $4.99

87 octane 90/10   $3.43

87 octane 100%   $3.83

87 octane on the lake about $4.50

Our boat's in a boathouse, and I'm not about to spend $20 additional per fill up plus spending $8 (roundup fuel) to get to the nearest marina fuel.  I have a buddy with a Cobalt 27' w/502 cu. in. I/O (2 mpg)  that goes after fuel and comes home with just over a 1/2 tank due to distance to the pumps from his house.

Street 87 with ethanol 3.53. And on the dock 90 4.23/gal.

Yesterday I paid $4.59 for treated 87. On the street 87 is around $3.79.

$3.46 on street with and $3.89 without on street. I haven't purchased on the lake in years.

I use regular with less than 10% ethanol.  I add Stabil Marine additive.  Where I get bait, they have Ethanol free fuel and it is approx $5.49.  No fuel available on my lake, so every time I take the boat out of the water, I fill up.  So far, I haven't had to fill with 5 gallon cans at my dock.

I get mine ethanol free on the street at two different stations. regular 90/10 $3.29  Non at one station $3.69 the other $3.89.

I just got 22 gallons, 90 Octane ethanol free on the street $4.38 a gallon.

Might be a little work ,but it beats $6.50

A far cry from 2000 when we first bought our lake home

87 Octane on the street was .79 /gallon

The marina sold the same gas for .99/gallon

Had a Sea Doo Bombardier

The kids tubed daily all summer

WE burned 20 gallons a day back then

Couldn't do that today

13 Cents a gallon in high school

LOL

The cheapest I remember was .59 cents

Then you had full service and a free gift after a fill up

As Dylan said

In the service on post $.15.  Bread at A&P was $.15 a loaf when I worked there. Part time wage $.62 an hour, now they want $10.50?

When I was in high school pumped gas at a DX Sunray station and it was 29 cents a gallon. Now they are both long gone. DX Sunray and .29 cents

One thing I love about New Jersey

Full Service Gas Stations

Enjoyed them immensely while I lived there

Bygone era for most of the country however
