First cruise with just me and my wife minus the grandkids. What a relaxing evening. I'm new to the pontoon world but what a great way to cruise the river. My old boat was a 1940 32 ft cypress boat that we used to cruise the river on. It was a nice boat but a lot of work to guide down the river and was diesel power and kid of loud. Cruising on my pontoon was smooth and effortless. So after the trip my wife now has a laundry list of things we will have to have on the boat. Blankets being number one. Even though were are in South Louisiana it gets kid of cool as the sun goes down. Also some sun glasses as she learned that a good pair is needed when were running west (I had mine) . I will need to add a second kidney table for the food she plans to bring next time. Im sure there will be other items we will learn that we need to bring to make the trips enjoyable as possible. Should have bought a pontoon a long time ago!

i never take glass on the water, plastic or aluminum for me, old habit i guess. dont want to deal with it if i get a little loose and drop it.
