+1 on amateur hour comment. It’s been a bit crazy out there. Fireworks tonight and I had to pass because too many of them out on a dark lake. They don’t know what they are doing in the daylight! The water this weekend is like a bar on St. Patricks Day, amateur hour. We do go out, but I act just like when I am on my motorcycle, I assume everyone is out to kill me.
When we first moved here 7 yrs. ago we went about a thousand yards outside of our cove to see the fireworks. When the show ended everybody was scurrying around like cockroaches! We almost got hit 2 times! Haven't been since!Wow, that's a busy cove. If the name fits what goes on, and I'm sure it does, I would leave the boat docked and swim too! We did go by boat to a fireworks show tonight that probably had a couple of hundred boats attending. It was a great show, but I was glad to get back to the boathouse.
Nice!!!We got out on the boat for fireworks last night on our lake. Wasn’t too bad at all. I don’t do much night boating, but it was the perfect night for it.

Went to the fireworks show at Trump National tonight. Perfect night after having thunderstorms around 500p. Best thing is we drove and left the boat home! We’re going out tomorrow night for the local fireworks.

Our local fireworks were on the 2nd . They started late ,11:05 due to wind ,they had a hard time securing the barge .Then the barge caught fire . There are videos but most are private . If I can find a public one Ill post it .( we did not attend )We’re going out tomorrow night for the local fireworks.
Link, the boat is actually 1 big cove away from where they launched the fireworks from the driving range of the country club. It would have been an easy 10 minute ride to the cove where the hundreds of other boats were anchored. It's just so much easier, less hassle and no headaches just to pull up in our car, watch the fireworks then go home! Did I mention the hundreds of boats and it was dark?!? Ha!BK LOL; first time I ever heard statement like that on this forum- glad we drove car and left boat home
