Houseboat Vacation: Lake Cumberland or Norris Lake

Somerset KY is no longer a dry county.  We used to stop in Richmond KY at Liquor Mart and load up and warn our friends to stock up before getting to the Lake.  We did run out on a houseboat trip and it was a 3 hour beer run. 


Also KY used to be cheaper than OH but not any more.  No need to cross the river to the Cork and Bottle anymore. 

Good! Because you need beer out there at night. For that matter, you need it for the day also! And 3 hours for beer would suck
