Here at The Lake there is a long standing pontoon tradition.

Pontoon owners assemble in the No-Wake Zone before sunset.

They tie their pontoons equipped with fender bumpers together to socialize and enjoy the sunset .

They routinely bring burgers, hot dogs, snacks, pastries and drinks with them to share with all

One or two of the pontoons are in charge of maintaining the sunsets view and distance from shoreline

As a first time pontoon participant I have to say it is amazing

I have always enjoyed nature with its daily miracles but this has added a new ambiance

Let me know if you are doing this in your piece of paradise.

That sounds very nice.  How big does the group get?

Pictures?............

We live in an association and we get 4 - 8 boats rafted up a few times during the year.  Often we raft up with a couple of boats, it is a lot of fun

The most in one group would be 12 which is seldom, when the group gets too big it splits into two groups

It is a nice tradition which increases community relations and allows people to talk and enjoy each others company

Pics, my digital camera is having a lens problem so it is in the shop for repairs.

Depending on what happens I may need to purchase a new camera.

I like the idea of the food, beverage, snacks and drinks (pop for me)

So we loaded up the Bennington Cooler Bag with ice and a few packages of ice cream sandwiches.

Tonight unfortunately rain, rain and more rain.

When you look for a camera, check out www.cowboom.com

I've bought numerous cameras and computers from them.

At least 3 iPads and probably 5+ cameras. Latest is a 14.2 mp Sony DSLRA33SLT

It's actually Best Buys return warehouse

Sounds like the way to go

I have had this one for 8 years time for a new model

Have to admit that I am a huge shutter bug and take pics on a daily basis

Best thing ever digital pics, no film, development or extreme costs

Love It

I like my iphone with auto upload to Photobucket.

Also check out EyeFi. https://www.eyefi.com

It's a wireless card that can automatically transfer the pics from camera to PC when within wireless range.
