Thinking About Fishing - Help

Not a fisherman but thinking about getting started!

Does anyone use the "Rod Runner"? Looks like a great piece of equipment.

To bring from car to boat yes but once on the boat you would be better off with the type of rod holders you can see in bcpnick's gallery

I've watched it a few hundred times, just can't figure out which rod carrier, so confusing to a rookie. I may give up on fishing before I start.

I have never fished, but with living on the Lake , Benny and Grand kids I am thinking about learning this season

Not sure if I could do it , I lack the patience , have no desire to eat or kill one 

BUT 

The sport of catch and release may be something the grand kids will enjoy 

Benny came with a depth finder and a fish finder with the Garmin 

So will give it a try 

Who knows it may be something I can enjoy while listening to great tunes, sipping pepsi and enjoying friends and family

Learning something new is always interesting 

Here's hoping for an early Boating Season
