I think the reason Bennington goes with the fabric they use is weight. Sunbrella is much heavier per square yard. If my toon had a Sunbrella cover I would not be able to it on by myself.

Make sure your throttle plate is opening all the way up. I would expect you to get at least 5800rpm with a light load on the boat.. Mine came with a 14x13 Black Max "extra cup". It is made just for pontoons. Not sure of the model number....
