Wow! New technology! I guess they made it auto-magic, so you can just keep driving while the skier drops off the back... :P I have an "old" 2008 2575 QXi, and I have to rub sticks to get the ski pole up... :D
Yes, on the breaker, I'm going to get under the console, to try and find any identifying info! I bet I vacuumed the button out of the device when cleaning... The great news on the lighting, is I ended up finding out everything I needed, and replaced the lights myself! Even better than they...
I guess you guys are just gonna make me say it out loud... "My dealer(s) is/are not a productive/positive/primary resource..."; how's that for politically in-direct... At least the two dealers I've dealt with so far... I bought the boat from one dealer, that's too far away for...
Shame on you! (jk)... Trying to keep "my dealer" as my last resort.... because they tend to want to "just do it for me", for a million dollars, as opposed to providing me with the technical info, which might allow me to do it myself...
I did a search for "dash mounted breakers", and only...
Fellow Bennington Pontooners,
I was wiping down the console on my 2008 2575 QXi, and noticed one of my--what I'll call dash mounted breaker buttons was/is missing (see pic I took before it was missing)... Don't know if it popped out, fell out, or was vacuumed out... anyway, I want to replace...
My vote/.2 cents is to lock'er down! I agree they should have provided them! My dealer didn't either... and said I didn't need them... (blah blah blah...) :P
Here's a link to the previous post: tie downs
Yes, that's what I used... a lighter. I experimented with my triple-flame cigar torch, but it got too hot--too fast, so I downgraded to a regular bic lighter... then it's art/experimenting... too close and you burn the tubing/wire... too far and it just takes longer for the shrinking to...
I'm in "the same boat"! I want to replace my WWI Garmin 95 with a newer model. I'm still digging through all of the posts (on this site and others), trying to see if anyone has confirmed whether or not the existing transducer can be used... I'm looking at the 531s Sounder model... I know...
I re-tested the link I provided above, and it says "error page is no longer available..." The website is: www.wiringproducts.com, then search for "bullet", and you'll get to this info below (reminder: this was for my boat - a 2008 2575 QXi):
Heat Shrink Insulated Bullet Terminals
HSBT!Heat...
This lake (Lake Hartwell) is 56,000+ acres... There's got to be more Bennington-ettes out there somewhere!?!?! I guess the time we see another Bennington-buddy on the lake, I'll have to stop'em and tell'em about this forum...
Ok, so "posting some pics tomorrow" is relative... I got the boat back from the detailer, and have since been working on replacing the bimini lights, which I got done this past weekend. The next challenge, is to figure out how to be on the boat with the wife, out in the water, on a moon-lit...
I now see some of my pics were deleted from the posts, and one was not... So, pics that are "attached" to posts get deleted when you delete them from your "Manage Attachments" area. Pics that are "embedded" into posts do not get removed... nice to know...
