Yianni, I have a Volvo Penta Duo prop on my 2015 QCW I/O and have had no problems in the 3 seasons I have been running it. I am just over 150 hrs on it.. I agree with your comment to use whatever the dealer in your area prefers is the best way to go. THey will be more apt to take good care of you.
I concur with Matt B above. I have a box anchor and have found it to be effective as long as I let out enough rope. If you are in 20 feet of water, let out 40 ft of rope. There are some great videos of how the box anchor works on YouTube.
I recently moved into a 10ft X 28ft slip. I have a lift to keep the boat out of the water most of the time. I have noticed that I am getting little scratches on the toons all the time. The slip has bumbers all along and I used 6" fenders X 4 as well. Any recommendations as to how I can avoid...
I have a second bilge switch for the center toon storage area. Not sure if that is how you are setup or not.
My speedometer works via GPS, so cant help there.
Here is a few pics ofy 4 step ladder on a Q series the ladder is made by windline. Sorry the pics did not post from my phone. Now that I am back home I posted the pics.
