We have the Q2572 windscreen arch total blackout package with with cream interior and we love it. Bought it for the same reason you choose a car color... because YOU think it's awesome and every time we see our boat we still smile! I have to say it is an attention getter in Florida. Recently...
What a coincidence, our boat's name is Slainte! We've not had the problems you're describing. I did adjust the poles a couple of times to get the runoff.
I priced my boat out and the quote/ sticker price was a whole lot more than we wound up paying. A dealer had a year end price that was over 30 % off. We used that price to negotiate on a new build and wound up with a bigger boat for the same price from a different dealer.
I use damp rid containers when we store our boat with the cover on. It's in Florida and it absorbs a lot of moisture. Haven't had any issues yet moth mold or mildew odor. I leave it in the hot sun on a lift months at a time.
We have a Q2572 saltwater tri-toon with the blackout package. It's over a year old and I can't see any evidence of fading or salt buildup. It is sprayed off with a pressure nozzle after each use. It looks great and I would recommend it as it takes no more work than other colors
I have the Q2572 Blackout 2016 with rough water package and saltwater pkg. You probably have your boat by now, so hope you're enjoying it. We went with the 300 Yamaha for very little more and it's worth it. We boat in the Matlacha area near Cape Coral Florida and have taken several long...
Mine is fixed. Unless you have the power arch it won't be going up or down easily. If you could trailer it lowered I'd do it just as a clearance precaution.
Takes 2 to remove it but it' s pretty easy. I have a 2016 2572 w/ cladded arch. It's always down when cruising, up when anchored or under 15 knots. When down wrap it tightly and secure w/ Velcro so wind doesn't damage zippers or fabric. Also I wrap a towel around the metal frame poles where...
We did order a 2016 2572 Windscreen Arch w/ blackout package. We went with the Yamaha 300 engine. Build started 11/11, so delivery will hopefully be towards the end of the year. Excited to be an owner of this nice triton.
