Found this nice pole holder that I will mount on back, open deck of my boat. Millennium Spyderlok Rod Tree. The mounting plate is flush mounted and direction of poles easily spaced. Two thumb screws remove the rod tree from the base for stowing. Looks sweet, hope it works as good as it looks!

any good fishing stories using the rod tree? Very interested in pictures of where you have the mounting plate. It looks like a great product!

Looking for solutions as well…. This was the first I ran across this solution.

I’m also looking for a solution to store rods in the center toon locker….

Tagged for this. I'm new here but looking at my center toon, seems like one could make a bracket that would mount rod storage higher in the toon where water is less likely to affect them.

So far, I'm using some chrome rod holders mounted on the ski tow bar. I also store my rods in the center tube, but my boat is in a covered slip and we also use the cover(to keep bird poop and pollen off the seats). So far, my center toon locker has stayed dry.

I use Scotty mounts on my bimini frame with either specific holders or bazooka tubes. I also have a mount in the transom with a triple holder I pop in that.

For you newer members, yes, that’s a 20 on that cowling. We are on a restricted lake.

Anyone try mounting something like this in the center toon storage locker? Cheap enough I may try it…. And free returns mean they can send it back to china if it doesn’t work out, lol

Wondering how to mount? Industrial double side tape? Silicone adhesive? Other?

For those of you who have a ski bar, I purchased these stainless steel rod holders on Amazon.
$80.00 for all 4 . They seem like a quality rod holder.

Tighten the screws up good, including the one that holds the tube to the clamp. I lost one on a very calm lake, vibrated off. I still have the clamp which was plenty tight to the bar, but I lost the tube. I think it is only one screw and you have to tighten it before you clamp them on.

Amazon,
It appears there has been a price increase.
Still under $100.00

Amarine Made 4 PCS Stainless Tournament Style Clamp on Fishing Rod Holder for Rails 1-1/4" to 2"
