Came across this article on FB, thought I would post so you could meet Albany

http://www.bustle.com/articles/102243-10-things-only-people-who-live-in-albany-understand?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=pro&utm_campaign=fbsales

I actually live in a suburb of Albany, a true suburb where the houses are situated on 1/2 acre lots and we are always doing things with our neighbors; clam steams, day trips or just happy hour.  But there is always a lot to do in Albany and I love it

Added Albany visitor Guide:  http://www.albany.org/

Nice links Jack, I probably should have looked at Albany's tourism site as well.  Maybe will add later as I've got to run now

Great Idea, I have now tripled the amount of time I spend on this forum.  Actually I enjoyed looking at some and will eventually do they all as I love different places so much

Nick....

Been to Utah a couple times.......but it was only for the skiing. Been to Park City, Deer Valley, Alta, and Snowbird. Looks like we'll have to go back to see the rest. Just beautiful!

Yep, Utah is pretty neat. My website is full of folks who come and see it and then get hooked. Some even end up moving here because it gets too expensive to keep flying out. The skiing and mountains are great too. I live near the mouth of the Cottonwood Canyons where Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, Brighton, etc. are, although I haven't done much of that in the last few years due to injuries. Too busy for me anyway. In a few hours I can be out in the red rocks and not see another soul for days.

Love Utah.  Wife and I visited southern Utah back in 2005 (Zion and surrounding areas).  I have a conference in Vegas next summer and we are adding a few days to the trip so we can go back to Utah.  Since that visit in 2005 I've always said we have unfinished business in Utah...so much more we want to see and do there.

Bump to get more action. There has to be more people proud enough of where you live to post some info here.

York, Pa. You know, York Peppermint Patties (not anymore) York Barbell (for you weight lifters) use to have York US 30 Dragstrip for you racers, and probably one of the coolest things, we are right next door to Gettysburg!!

Muscle Shoals, Alabama  This is a music town on the banks of the Tennessee River.  The below golf course is down my street.

We're #1 in large smallmouth bass and catfish.   Wilson Lake is between two counties with 147,000 residents--not too small or too big.  The lakefront properties here are absolutely incredible with lake levels going up and down no more than 18" in most years.

That is one long golf course Bamaman, you golf that beast?
