Does anyone have a solution for moisture getting under the glass on your gauges.  My dealer states this is normal and you can clear the problem by turning on your navigation lights for a few minutes.  I'm concerned with the lens becoming foggy over the years.  Only one of my gauges has this issue, see attached picture.

Yep same thing over here in Texas, on a 2 year old boat, So Next year I am thinking warranty claim. That's what is nice about Bennington.  If the factory is proactive they need to be working with the supplier now to get this corrected and units ready for replacement, This has been a common problem. Too nice of a rig to have the gauges looking like this.

This issue started the first year (2014) that I purchased the boat. I assumed this would be a warranty claim, but my dealer states this is normal. His quote:“These gauges are vented as soon as you turn on your navlights it will take the moisture out. All gauges do this.” It appears from his response that this is normal and will not be covered under warranty.

Yes ,same one on mine  .Goes away in the sun

BM will not process this complaint as a warranty claim. Contrary to popular belief, these are not a sealed guage. They consider this "problem" normal.

This "problem" is normal on these gauges. Even though it seems like a pain, it is common and mine clear up after a couple minutes in the sun.

Turning the lights on, as stated, should also clear up the condensation.

Mine were replaced first year, but new one fogged up almost immediately.

After researching more, I learned the above, so I didn't worry with it anymore.

It appears the comments from my dealer are in line with the majority of the responses. I wanted to thank everyone for their quick feedback.

To think all the supplier has to do is coat the inside of the lens with "spit",,(divers trick) I mean "anti fog" coating,,,, Hmm ?? Just wondering why ALL the gauges don't fog? Something does not smell right here Lucy.

Still love the boat!!!

Mine started fogging this year.

Mine have been doing this for years. It's temporary and goes away quickly. But it is also permanent and happens often, if that makes sense.

Just as long as that makes sense to you kaydano

I didn't have this problem last year. New boat 2014. Now this year just one of the three gauges has condensation everyday I use the boat. It's the starboard side trim, fuel gauge. Just the one gauge. If it's the norm for these gauges to have condensation in them my question to my dealer and to BN, why just one of the gauges Why the other ones? I'll keep you post when I here back from the dealer.

Mine have done this since Day One.  What's strange is that they don't fog up until I run the boat.  And it's all electrical items that plug into the multi-gauge.

I've just accepted that it's just how things are, and nothing can be done within reason to fix it.

I am very interested to hear what Sanity3's dealer has to say as your issues and age of boat are identical to mine.

Our 2007 has done this since new. Tha combo guage has been replaced 3 times and they are all the same.

I have a solution! Move to a climate with dryer air. Mines be doing this and clearing up since day one, the more you use your boat the less you notice it.

Mine had a thunderstorm in it during the morning there was so much moisture but it was gone by the afternoon.

I've never seen moisture in my gauges, so I think you might be on to something with the dry air. Utah is the second driest state in the nation.
